Three limited-edition sets of 12 mint beer mats promoting the 47th Sheffield Steel City Beer Festival (SCBF47) are to be auctioned on eBay to raise money for the event’s charity – the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

On one side is the SCBF47 logo with the reverse carrying the name of a sponsor. When correctly arranged, a full set replicates the festival poster (pictured). Each auctioned set will also include one of the limited-edition beer mats (10,000 copies) which advertised the 2023 CAMRA Members’ Weekend, AGM and Conference which was held in Sheffield earlier this year.

There are 60,000 SCBF47 beer mats available, 5,000 for each sponsor. During the next two months these will be distributed across Sheffield and the surrounding area, but a full set is unlikely to be seen in one place.

The sponsors are: Abbeydale, Acorn, Blue Bee, Bradfield, Chantry, Neepsend, Peak, Tapped and Triple Point breweries plus Abel Magnets, Kelham Island Books and Music and MKM Builders Merchant.

The festival will be held at Kelham Island Industrial Museum from 18-21 October.
