Each year, during October Cider Month, CAMRA’s Apple committee offers people the opportunity to visit cider producers and this year is no exception. This year’s trip is based in Sussex and will take place on Saturday 7 October.
The trip will leave Crawley railway station at 11 am and visit Wobblegate Cider at Bolney, Kissingate Brewery at Lower Beeding for lunch and Village Green Cider at Turners Hill before returning to Crawley station for 6 pm.
During the trip, people will have the chance to find out how cider is made from experienced producers, visit orchards and enjoy lunch at Kissingate Brewery where local cider will be available.
This trip visits working cider farms so attendees will need suitable footwear and there may be some which are a short walk from the road.
The trip costs £20 for members and £22 for non-members and bookings can be made on line at http://shop.camra.org.uk/cidertrip
