Brewer taps in to world cup fever

Norfolk brewer Woodforde’s has launched the limited-edition Tap & Go to mark the Rugby World Cup.

Brewed with a combination of British, American and New Zealand hops, the 4.3 per cent ABV beer has tropical fruit notes and aromas and will be available throughout the tournament.

Woodforde’s brewing manager Bruce Ash said: “As big rugby fans, we’re excited to launch our exclusive beer for the Rugby World Cup. We take great pride in everything we brew and this one is certainly special. Tap & Go is a clean and crisp beer full of character and flavour.”

Woodforde’s head of sales James Ramm (pictured) said: “Woodforde’s is known for its delicious beer, and Tap & Go is a perfect example of that. The fantastic pubs we have across the country will undoubtedly be full of rugby fans from this Friday and what’s better than watching rugby? Watching it with a quality beer in hand!”
