There was a new face behind the bar at the Ponthir House Inn as Prince Charles stopped off on the last engagement of his tour of Wales.
He was welcomed by landlord Barrie Walden, who has opened a pop-up village store during lockdown in the Ponthir, near Newport in South Wales.
The store sells essentials such as milk, bread, fruit and vegetables and has proved such a success that the Ponthir has plans to launch a delivery service to help vulnerable people within the village....
