Research highlights pubs' key lockdown role
Rural and urban pubs were key providers of services to their communities during the first lockdown. The social value of community pubs providing local services during the first Covid-19 lockdown is revealed in a new report from Pub is The Hub. The Social Value of Pubs and Publicans providing Services in their Communities report found, for every £1 invested in a pub project between £8.98 and £9.24 of additional social value was created from services or activities provided....
