It is with deep sadness that I wish to report to you the untimely, sudden and unexpected death of my wife Liz Anderson, writes Eric Anderson.

Liz was an ardent campaigner for cider and perry. A member of Loughborough & North Leicestershire branch, she worked tirelessly for many years running the catering at the Loughborough Beer Festival, distributing publicity and advising the branch on cider and perry.

The irony of her death is that we had just set up a cider wholesaling company in conjunction with Pete Davidson and Lisa Donaldson (Moonface Brewery and Tap) called Tiny Orchard Ciders and had just begun trading.

Liz was greatly respected by cider producers and publicans for her extensive knowledge of the cider industry and the advice she gave was always given and received with respect and humour.

CAMRA has lost a dearly loved, respected and knowledgeable member but I can assure CAMRA that campaigning for cider and perry will continue in her memory.
