A West Dorset brewery has celebrated 225 years of brewing and Cask Ale Week
Palmers brewery, Bridport hosted an afternoon celebration party with music from the Vinyl Monkeys, a hog roast and food from the Half Moon pub in Melplash, brewery tours and lots of cask real ales and ciders from Dorset Orchards.
Favourites included, Tally Ho, Colmers, IPA and Copper. Donations on the day were collected for the Minerva Learning Trust.
Palmers has been brewing in Bridport since 1794, with it gaining the name JC & RH Palmer in the late 19th century after brothers John Cleeves and Robert Henry bought the business.
