Next year’s Members’ Weekend, AGM & Conference will return to the beautiful Caird Hall in Dundee between 26-28 April.
The event will be hosted by the Scotland & Northern Ireland branches, which last welcomed members to the city in 2019. In 2024, CAMRA will be celebrating 50 years in Scotland.
Conference organiser Neil Leeson said: “The event is open to all our members and free to attend. Caird Hall, right in the city centre, is in close proximity to pubs, restaurants, hotels and the train station. With everything under one roof, including the all-important Members’ Bar, you’ll have the chance to take part in all the discussions and activities, socialise and drink without leaving the building.”
Dundee is famed for jute, jam and journalism plus is the home to the Beano and Dandy! In addition, visitors can enjoy walking along the regenerated waterfront to visit Scotland's first design museum, V&A Dundee, and the ship that took Scott and Shackleton to Antarctica in 1901, the RRS Discovery.
The Campaign is also looking for members to volunteer for the weekend or part of it.
Neil said: “Volunteers will be needed in all areas, including set up from Tuesday 23 April, as conference tellers, bar staff and general assistants."
