What do you want to see on a beer label – ingredient listing, alcoholic strength or a health warning?

You can let the industry and legislators know through the European Beer Consumers Union's (EBCU) new consumer survey, which aims to gather the thoughts of beer drinkers across Europe.

“Our mission is to better understand what information consumers feel is vital on beer labels. The data collected will help to shape the way we support industry partners like Brewers of Europe and also aid juridical and political authorities in making informed decisions when creating legislation pertaining to beer labelling,” said an EBCU spokesman.

“We encourage every beer consumer to have their say – your opinion matters and will contribute to how information is presented on your favourite beers.”

The anonymous survey closes on 13 August and responses will be held in confidence. The results will be published at the EBCU’s annual Brussels reception.
