Robin Hood returns to Trent Bridge

Early bird tickets are now on sale for Nottingham CAMRA’s Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival, which returns to the historic Trent Bridge cricket ground for a third year from 11-14 October.

Nottingham’s best breweries will be found alongside old favourites and newer producers, with a wide choice of beer from all over the country.

Cider makers will also be in on the act with a broad selection, plus food vendors will be dotted around the festival site. Entertainment will be provided in two locations.

Festivalgoers can secure their tickets during the early-bird window, which runs until Friday 28 July, with admission available from £13.

The admission price includes tokens for one and a half pints of most beers or ciders and includes a complimentary glass. Ticket prices will increase after the early bird window ends, so book early.

Tickets are:

  • Wednesday 11 October 4pm-11pm £13.
  • Thursday 12 October 11am-11pm £13.
  • Friday 13 October 11am-11pm £23.
  • Saturday 14 October 11am-11pm £23.

Early-bird buyers will also be able to claim a free ticket to Notts Outlaws v Yorkshire Vikings in the One Day Cup on Saturday 5 August.

“Trent Bridge has been the perfect partner for us in the last two years as we have seen the festival grow and grow into its new home. Hosting the festival in the surrounds of one of the most prestigious cricket grounds in the world adds a real sense of occasion,” said Nottingham branch chairman Steve Westby.

For those attending on the Friday and Saturday and wish to enhance their experience, guests can enjoy four bowl food dishes in Trent Bridge’s Derek Randall Suite accompanied by expertly paired beers. Tickets for the food and beer pairing session are £49.

Nottinghamshire County Cricket commercial director Michael Temple said: “We’re delighted to be hosting the festival for the third year in succession which has grown both in size and stature during it’s time at Trent Bridge.

“This is one of the most historic cricket grounds in the world which adds a unique flavour and has seen thousands of the Nottinghamshire public turn out to support the event.”

Guests will also be able to put their questions to the experts in a Meet the Brewer Q&A session and explore the venue on a guided tour.
