CAMRA podcast goes wild

The popular CAMRA podcast Pubs. Pints. People. continues its sixth season with Wild Beer, which explores more fascinating aspects of brewing including the botany of beer, wild production and hop farming.

Hear Jaega Wise of Wild Card brewery talk about her book Wild Brews, which won Debut Drink Book at the Fortnum and Mason Awards 2023. The team also chats to Albert Johnson of Ross on Wye Cider and Perry Company, one of the rising stars of the cider world.

Plus, this episode sees the return of resident chef, Christian Gott, who cooks grilled lamb cutlets, new season potatoes, asparagus and a very special Béarnaise made with beer. See the recipe here.

During May, CAMRA celebrates one of its two Cider Months. This episode includes audio postcards from three orchards in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Kent. Hear from David Lindgren of Bushel and Peck Cider and the newly elected chair of the Gloucestershire Orchard Trust; 2021 CAMRA Pomona Award winner Susanna Forbes from Little Pomona Cider in Herefordshire; and Sam Nightingale of Nightingale Cider in Kent.

The episode is now available on Spotify and Apple Podcast, and wherever you get your podcasts from. You can listen now by visiting https://shows.acast.com/pubspintspeople
