Glasgow’s real ale festival is back

Glasgow’s Real Ale Festival will return in June after a three-year Covid hiatus at the Briggait in the Merchant City from 16-18 June.

It is the seventh time Glasgow has hosted the event.

The festival features award-winning real ales from Skye, Overtone, Broughton and many more from across the British Isles. There is an international bar featuring beers from some of the best breweries around the world.

“The last few years have been tough for our independent brewers,” said Jonathan Kemp from organisers Glasgow and West of Scotland branch.

“It’s great to be back in Glasgow, giving visitors a chance to sample some of the best real ales in the world, including many rarely seen in Glasgow. With halves and thirds of pints available, it’s easy to sample lots of styles.”

The festival will also feature real ciders, perries and mead, as well as a dedicated gin bar showcasing brand new versions from Skye and other signature variants.

With wine, soft drinks and great food – including vegetarian and vegan options – from independent local food stalls, there will be something for everyone to try.

Tickets are available now from the TCKTY website. For more information, visit glasgowrealalefestival.co.uk and follow us on #GRAFISBACK.
