Drink beer and help save the planet? It’s a serious question – so serious that I was delighted to see CAMRA had launched a Drink Greener scheme to coincide with COP26.
Making beer takes a lot out of the environment. Vast acres of land are set aside to grow barley and hops while it takes between six and eight pints of water to make one pint of beer.
It’s time to put something back......
