After months of fundraising and hard work the Lowther Arms has reopened for the first time since 2018 under community ownership. The pub in Mawbray, Cumbria is owned by  the Lowther Arms Community Project and its 297 shareholders. Believed to the country’s first coastal community pub, the interior has new decor which reflects its location....
