Black Sheep brewery’s winter warmer Blitzen is returning to pubs across the country this Christmas.

Described as “Christmas cake in a glass”, Blitzen is a bright, ruby ale brewed with Cascade and Goldings hops, orange, mixed peels, and muscovado sugar and is set to land in cask serving pubs from 21 November.

This year the much-loved beer is available in both cask and bottle, offering beer drinkers the chance to enjoy Blitzen in either the pub or buy from select Morrisons stores across the country.

Black Sheep head of marketing Jack Scott Paul said: “Following two years of restrictions, we recognise the desire to share special moments with friends and family this Christmas is more profound than ever. We’re hoping that the launch of beers like Blitzen will encourage drinkers to share those moments down their local at this important time of year for the pub trade.”

Blitzen is the final addition to Black Sheep’s 2022 Seasonal Cask Beer Range – it’s biggest calendar to date, featuring a number of new cask brands.
