Landlady celebrates 50 years at same pub
Wrexham licensee Jean Williams has celebrated notching up 50 years serving pints from the bar of the Griffin Inn, Gresford. The pub has links back to the 13th century and is a firm favourite with real ale enthusiasts. Williams said: “It’s unusual to have run a pub for so long. I don't know what the secret is. This is a very traditional pub and I think they like that.”...
