Beer is to play a starring role at this year’s BBC Good Food Show which runs from 28 Nov to 1 Dec.

The first day of the foodies festival sees the climax of CAMRA’s competition to find the best bottled beer in the country, with the winner announced at midday at the NEC in Birmingham.

The Campaign is also hosting the Great British Beer Experience with some of the country’s leading beer communicators, including Mark Dredge, Jonny Garrett and Annabel Smith leading tutored tastings.

CAMRA is also giving away beer samples on the stand and Learning and Discovery manager Alex Metcalfe will be on hand to talk people through the beers, styles and the brewing process.

And for anyone looking to buy Christmas presents the CAMRA stand will be selling merchandise, books and memberships.
