Scottish stalwart mourned

Scottish members were saddened by the passing of Kenny Broadbent, a former chairman of the Kingdom of Fife branch, on Wednesday 9 August at the Victoria Hospice, Kirkcaldy.

Kenny was active at Scotland and Northern Ireland Branches (SNIB) level for many years. He also helped to get the Fife Beer Festival in Glenrothes off the ground and despite his poor health, managed to attend the Rothes Hall for a short period in April for a beer or two. In July he was presented with a Special Award in recognition of his many years of campaigning for CAMRA.
